We are now recruiting for additional SEND Teaching Assistants to work within the SEND department of one of our partner schools in East London. The successful applicant will have previous experience in working with SEND pupils of varying needs in either mainstream or alternative education setting. You will be required to support students within the SEND department who require additional support throughout the school on a either 1:1 basis or in small groups.
This school has been rated by Ofsted as GOOD and is where students are well behaved and obtain successful outcomes across the majority of subjects here.The school has generously equipped classrooms, workshops and laboratories that provides a modern education to students.
This is an ongoing long-term SEND post to begin immediately
The successful applicant will have…
• Previous SEND experience of working as a teaching assistant
• Confidence in working with learners with varying needs
• A patient and nurturing persona
• A current DBS that is registered with the online update service will also be required. For anyone who does not, a new disclosure will be required.
