Looking for work in a school
- DfE Teaching Vacancies — the Department for Education's own job board; browse and apply for teaching and support-staff posts across England for free.
- Get Into Teaching — DfE guidance and adviser contact for anyone considering training as a teacher.
- NASUWT — teachers' union: pay, contract and workplace-rights advice for members.
- Education Support — UK charity with a free, confidential 24/7 helpline for the mental health and wellbeing of teachers and education staff.
Looking to recruit or manage staff at a school
- Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) — the trade body for recruitment agencies; a starting point for checking a supply agency's standards before you use one.
- Teaching Regulation Agency — the DfE agency that regulates the teaching profession, handles misconduct cases and keeps the prohibited-from-teaching list.
- Ofsted — inspects and reports on schools and other education providers in England.
- Acas — free, impartial advice on workplace rights and rules, and help resolving employment disputes.
